Job Responsibilities: 

  • Maintain hyperbaric recompression chamber logs in accordance with applicable monoplace recompression chamber tech manuals and company policy.    
  • Responsible for and able to maintain the hyperbaric recompression chamber room in compliance with safety check lists in accordance with OSHA standards.     
  • Responsible for and ability to maintain the hyperbaric recompression chamber room in accordance with the National Fire Protection Agency (NFPA) 99, chapter 14. 
  • For an accomplished healthcare professional with wound care experience, R3 is willing to train and cover the cost of the Hyperbarics certification. Certification must be obtained within the 1st 6 months of employment 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 

  • Administer 100% oxygen to the correct intensity using the monoplace hyperbaric recompression chamber 
  • Basic knowledge of cryogenic oxygen and medical air purity standards and maintain certificates of analysis on file 
  • Knowledge and Ability to operate medical air-cylinder reducers and deliver prescribed recompression treatment air breaks  
  • Ability to safely handle medical air K-cylinders in accordance with the compressed gas association manual 
  • Knowledge of and ability to safely clean monoplace recompression chamber acrylics in accordance with applicable technical manuals and the Pressure Vessels Human Occupancy 1 guidelines 

Qualifications: 

  • Must be a Certified Hyperbaric Technician or willing to become certified 
  • Wound care experience highly preferred 
  • Must be able to work flexible hours and ability to multitask 
  • Must be able to work in a truly cohesive team environment 
  • Maintains an elevated level of customer service and compassion with all patients 
  • Must have excellent bedside manner
